ELOPE IN THE BORDEAUX WINE REGION

WHY CHOOSE the french BORDEAUX FOR YOUR ELOPEMENT IN FRANCE?

Bordeaux and its neighbouring wine region are pure French refinement: a balance of urban elegance and countryside calm. The city itself feels timeless, with limestone streets, grand architecture, and candlelit restaurants that spill onto cobbled terraces. Just beyond, the vineyards of Saint-Émilion offer stillness and space with rolling hills, stone villages, and a rhythm of life that slows everything down.

It’s a region that captures both romance and artistry. You can elope in a private château surrounded by vines, or host an intimate dinner in the heart of Bordeaux with soft jazz and candlelight. The area is also one of the easiest to access from Paris, making it a seamless choice for couples who want a luxury experience without the logistics of somewhere remote.

For design-driven couples who appreciate good food, fine wine, and effortless sophistication, this region feels like a love letter to French culture itself.

We plan and design every Bordeaux elopement as a fully curated experience, tailored to the season, setting, and your vision. All within one fixed investment. Included:

  • Venue sourcing (hotel, vacation rental, château…)

  • Full design and styling concept

  • Planning and on-site coordination

  • Florals inspired by the landscape

  • Photography and videography

  • Beauty team for the couple

  • Catering by a private chef

No hidden costs, just a celebration that feels entirely you.

  • Most Studio couples spend between €10,000 and €18,000 for a French Alps elopement, depending on the season, guest count, and the type of venue or chalet chosen. Our pricing is fixed, you’ll know exactly what’s included from the start, but every detail within that investment is customized to fit your style, location, and priorities.

  • Every Studio elopement includes full planning, styling, and coordination, plus key services like florals, photography, hair and makeup, and private dining. We’ll work with you to hand-select the right mix of local venues (their fees are not included) and vendors within your budget, so your day feels bespoke without the stress of managing costs or logistics. We’re always happy to help with sourcing vendors beyond the ones included in your package if you want something extra (DJs, entertainment, additional hair & makeup service, etc.)

  • Some of the most beautiful elopement spots include Annecy, Chamonix, Megève, and the lakeside villages near Geneva. Each offers a different feel, from chic mountain lodges and modern chalets to remote viewpoints perfect for private vows. We’ll help you find the right backdrop for your vision and season.

  • Winter (December–March) is magical for snow-covered scenes, cosy chalets, and candlelit dinners. Summer (June–September) brings wildflowers, lakes, and long golden evenings. The best time depends on your aesthetic: we’ll guide you based on the light, mood, and experience you want.

  • Most couples choose to complete the legal paperwork in their home country and hold a symbolic ceremony in France. This makes planning simpler and allows you to focus on the celebration itself. We can advise on legal options if you’d prefer to marry officially in France, though this option is usually only available to those either residing in the country already or who have strong family ties to the region.

  • Yes. Our elopements are designed for up to 20 guests, offering intimacy without losing atmosphere. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group, we’ll tailor the setup and dining experience accordingly.

  • Ideally six to twelve months ahead, though we occasionally accept short-notice bookings if our calendar allows. The earlier you enquire, the more flexibility we have with venue and vendor selection.
