ELOPE IN CHAMPAGNE COUNTRY

Why Elope in the Champagne Region

There’s something quietly opulent about Champagne. It’s luxury without pretence, rooted in ritual and craftsmanship.

Eloping here feels like stepping into a slower rhythm. You can exchange vows in a historic maison, wander through vines with your photographer, and toast your marriage where the world’s most celebrated bubbles are born. The region balances French heritage with understated sophistication, ideal for couples who want refinement without formality.

It’s close to Paris yet feels worlds away, making it the perfect choice for a long weekend escape that still feels like a grand occasion.

Highlights & Details

  • Getting here: Just 45 minutes by high-speed train from Paris to Reims or Épernay. Perfect for couples flying into Paris who want an easy, scenic transition to the countryside.

  • Atmosphere: Effortless elegance of soft palettes, fine food, crisp architecture, and an ever-present sense of celebration.

  • Venues: Champagne maisons, vineyard estates, boutique hotels, and private manors with panoramic vineyard views.

  • Before & after: Private cellar tours, vintage car drives, picnics between vines, or a champagne-paired dinner under the stars.

  • Perfect for: Couples who love timeless design, intimate gatherings, and the idea of a wedding that feels more like a refined escape than an event.

What’s included with a studio elopement package?

We plan and design every Champagne region elopement as a fully curated experience, tailored to the season, setting, and your vision. All within one fixed investment. Our fees include everything you need to have a beautiful, meaningful celebration. We don’t include your accommodation or venue in our fees to allow full flexibility to find you the perfect spot.

Included:

  • Venue sourcing (hotel, vacation rental, château…)

  • Full design and styling concept

  • Planning and on-site coordination

  • Florals inspired by the landscape

  • Photography and videography

  • Beauty team for the couple

  • Catering by a private chef

No hidden costs, just a celebration that feels entirely you.

  • Most Studio couples invest between €10,000 and €18,000 for a Champagne elopement, depending on the season, guest count, and venue type. Our pricing is fixed, meaning no unexpected add-ons, but within that investment, every element is fully tailored to your style, location, and priorities.

  • Every Studio elopement includes full planning, styling, and coordination, plus key services like florals, photography, hair and makeup, and private dining. We’ll work with you to hand-select the right mix of local venues (their fees are not included) and vendors within your budget, so your day feels bespoke without the stress of managing costs or logistics. We’re always happy to help with sourcing vendors beyond the ones included in your package if you want something extra (DJs, entertainment, additional hair & makeup service, etc.)

  • We design elopements across Reims, Épernay, and the surrounding countryside. Couples often choose elegant Champagne houses, vineyard estates, or boutique hotels overlooking the vines. Whether you want a grand maison or a quiet rural escape, we’ll source the perfect setting for your celebration.

  • Late spring to early autumn (May to October) is ideal for warm weather, lush vines, and outdoor dining. September’s harvest season offers a beautiful backdrop and lively atmosphere, while early spring brings crisp light and quieter venues.

  • Most couples choose to complete the legal paperwork in their home country and hold a symbolic ceremony in France. This makes planning simpler and allows you to focus on the celebration itself. We can advise on legal options if you’d prefer to marry officially in France, though this option is usually only available to those either residing in the country already or who have strong family ties to the region.

  • Yes. Our elopements are designed for up to 20 guests, offering intimacy without losing atmosphere. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small group, we’ll tailor the setup and dining experience accordingly.

  • Ideally six to twelve months ahead, though we occasionally accept short-notice bookings if our calendar allows. The earlier you enquire, the more flexibility we have with venue and vendor selection.

Just the two of you (and maybe a few loved ones too)

Our elopement packages are available for groups of up to 20. Use our calculator to see how much your alpine elopement would cost:
